Spring Break

Taking some much needed time away from creating to focus on friends and family. No worries though, I will be back soon.

I'm baaaaack!

Wowee, what a crazy time it's been since the last time we chatted. I have expanded my line of items to include cuffs, necklaces, paintings, birdhouse gourds, embellished t's and ruffle necklaces just to name a few. Bascially, I get an idea, I make it and then I sell it (ok sometimes I keep it for myself too). I pulled off my 1st open house style show. The attendance wasn't huge but the advertising must have made an impression or two because lots of people have reached out to me about my items. This holiday season has been a very successful time for 'High on the Hill'. Thank you all for supporting me and the things I love, I mean LOOOOOVE doing. Seeing someone with a smile on their face because of something that I dreamt up and created...well there's just nothing like it in the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Scarves and computers??

Well Faith is now in the good hands of Lorena over at Colliers Computers in Oak Grove. The super hot owners, Nick and Lorena, have allowed me to put up a small display in their store. After I got Faith and the scarves set up I gabbed with Lorena for awhile, which is always fun.

The next time your in the Oak Grove area be sure to swing by Colliers Computers and check out my scarves, the computers and of course you gotta gab with Lorena!

Happy Fall Y'all!

What a wonderful week-end we had! Halloween was on a Saturday this year, so for us working moms this makes getting ready to trick-or-treat alot less chaotic. The weather was great and the kiddo's didn't have to distract from their costumes with heavy coats or umbrella's.

My daddy brought back Faith and with her a great stand for her to call home. I began merchandising the stand a little this week-end and I am pretty happy with the way it's coming; considering I am determined NOT to buy anything and just use what I have around the house.

Also, worked on a new scarf design...it didn't turn out what I had envisioned in my head but I think with a few tweaks it can become something beautiful! I am SO SO close to sharing with you a little something-something that I have been working on. They are too cute and provide inspiration & motivation that most of us need to be constantly reminded of. I'll have a sneek peak up soon - check back soon!

You gotta have Faith

Well, the verdict on the mannequin torso is 100% pure love! It's like having a full size Barbie doll to dress up :-) I am actually thinking about purchasing another one just to keep in my closet. My daughter and I decided that she needed to have a name, so we settled on "Faith"! I thought this was a PERFECT name. Faith is visiting my Dads workshop right now. She is getting outfitted with a base so she can sit nicely on a tabletop.
